System maintenance completed: Important announcements on various updates

Thank you for your continued support of GensoKishi Online.
As of February 20th, 2023 at 11:00 UTC, we have completed our system maintenance.

Items that were subjected to the maintenance are as follows:

The following in-game items can now be exported as NFT

  • Items dropped by monsters, or gear available at the Dragon Coin Shop and have a rarity of SR or higher.
※ We plan on making gears with a rarity below R available for export in future updates.
  • Sushi Meal items, mithrils, items to limit break, and various material items are now available for export.

■ Updates regarding the recently announced problem with the dragon coins.

  • "Broken Dragon Coins" not implemented at this time
    • As for the current ongoing issue with the Dragon Coins, we were not able to implement the “Broken Dragon Coin” feature at this time.
    • We will conduct a remedial measure for all users who have already exported the Dragon Coins with our future updates.
    • For those who have already exported the Dragon Coins, purchased Dragon Coins on the Marketplace, or deposited the Dragon Coins to the postal storage, we ask that you please hold off on taking action until we have a fix for this issue.

  • Dragon Coin drop-rate now restored
    • As a reminder, Dragon Coins are currently not available for export. In addition with today’s update, the Dragon Coin drop-rate have been restored to its original setting, where all party members are accounted for when the drop-rate is calculated.
    • For those who have attempted the Dragon Tower prior to today's system maintenance, we will be providing with a compensation for the Dragon Coins according to the original drop-rate for each of the floor bosses you have defeated. We will be providing the remedy at a later date, and will announce the details once confirmed. Please refer to our last announcement for the specifics of this remedy here.

Updates regarding the status of NFT Import / Export

  • There has been a transmission delay between the servers that manages the NFT data and the blockchain network.
※ We believe that this is a temporary failure on the part of the servers used by GensoKishi.
  1. When exporting NFTs and displaying them in “My Inventory”
  2. When displaying items in the import list after exporting NFTs
  3. After importing NFTs, the item remains displayed in the import list
  • Currently there is a time lag of approximately 40 - 60 minutes between the time a player takes the above action, and the time the data are actually reflected.
  • Under these current situations, players will often face a situation where they would think "I exported my NFT, but it won’t appear in My Inventory!” If this is the case, please wait for a few minutes and the NFT will be display correctly.
  • Although we understand the inconvenience, we would like to assure you that all NFTs will appear normally after a short period of time.

■ Change in Postal Storage Usage Fees

Please make sure to read the below and be aware as this is an IMPORTANT announcement.

Players have been able to deposit items into the Postal Storage using mROND in order to export NFTs. However, we have decided to raise the overall fees of depositing imported NFTs into the Postal Storage, effective with the update in early March 2023.

We will be modifying the fee from 1% to a maximum of 30% of the approximate in-game value of the item.

Currently, you can deposit NFTs at the same price as before. If you do not plan to use the item within the game and plan on reselling on the secondary market, but have imported the NFT for the time being, we would recommend that you export the NFT before the early March update.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

■ Adjusting in-game balance

After monitoring user game-plays after our update for Zeth Forest, we have decided to conduct an update to adjust the in-game balance, as well as to conduct countermeasures against BOTS.

  1. Random appearances of special monsters within the map
    • We have placed monsters on various maps that are clearly superior in strength compared to normal monsters. These monsters do not have to be defeated in order to proceed within the game, so if you find it unfit for your current in-game level, please avoid battling these special monsters.

  2. Parameters of some monsters have been adjusted
    • We have adjusted the Guard and DEX values of some monsters that were too low despite of their strong appearance. Please be aware that this may cause the difficulty of some maps to increase. Also, some monsters will now attack players with magic skills.

Thank you for your continued support of the GensoKishi Project.
