[Open Beta Test] Details revealed on Events, Data Transfers, and Metamask Wallet Connectivity

We are excited to announce the details regarding regarding upcoming events, data transfers, and Metamask wallet connectivity for the upcoming Open Beta Test that we have announced here the other day.

■ New details regarding upcoming events

• Open Beta 1: Win a spot on the Whitelist to purchase the special NFT collaboration with Yoshitaka Amano
  • The probability of winning a spot on the Whitelist will increase depending on the number of mRONDs held at the end of Open Beta 1 but with a cap limit of 7,000,000 mRONDs. Anything more than the cap limit will stay consistent in terms of probability.
  • We have received feedback from the community that there should be a cap limit on the amount of mRONDs held to prevent players from playing long gaming hours that may potentially negatively affect their health.
  • The development team of GensoKishi aims to provide a service that can be enjoyed by many people in a healthy manner over a long period of time, and therefore have decided that setting a cap limit would be beneficial for everyone.
     
• Open Beta 2: Conversion of mROND to ROND
  • As in the case of Open Beta 1, the development team are considering setting a cap limit for the conversion.
  • We will announce the details of the cap limit as soon as it is finalized.

■ More information about data transfers

• Closed Beta Test, Open Beta 1, Open Beta 2, and the Official Release
  • Game data will be reset every time a phase is complete. As for the next reset, the game will be reset at the end of the Closed Beta Test, and all players will have a clean slate starting on Open Beta 1.

Here is a bit of background as to why we conduct data resets.

The Closed Beta Test, Open Beta 1, and Open Beta 2 all have different types of events, held separately throughout the testing phase. If we allow players to transfer data from one testing phase to another, some players will benefit from the data transfer and easily complete the events. This may lead to the possibility of creating a game imbalance that potentially can ruin the fun of playing in the Open Beta phase all together.

There are various ways to enjoy playing the game, but many people look forward to the numerous events within each phase.

By not allowing data transfers, the development team hopes that many people will be able to enjoy playing the game even during the Open Beta phase. It is for this reason we have decided to reset the gameplay data after each phase.

■ Metamask wallet connectivity

• Open Beta 1: Yoshitaka Amano special collaboration NFT Whitelist lottery
• Open Beta 2: Conversion from mROND to ROND

In our most recent announcement, we stated that the Metamask wallet connectivity was required to participate in the Open Beta 2 event, but did not state that the Metamask connectivity was necessary for the Open Beta 1 event.

As with Open Beta 1, connecting your Metamask wallet is mandatory to participate in the event, so please make sure to link your Metamask Wallet if you wish to participate in the event.

* In order to participate in the Whitelist lottery event, connecting your wallet is mandatory, but for those who wants to play without participating in the event, the Metamask wallect connectivity is OPTIONAL.
