[Survey Results] Server Region Consolidation and Channel Reduction

Thank you for playing GensoKishi Online.

We would like to share the results of the “Server Region Consolidation Survey” that was recently conducted.

We received 253 responses from our community.
Thank you very much to everyone who participated and shared their opinions.

Below is a summary of some of the survey results.

■Player Activity

Many respondents are still actively playing the game:

  • Play almost every day: 187 responses
  • Play several times a week: 41 responses

This indicates that most respondents are currently active players.

■ Regions Currently Used

  • Japan Region 1 — 111 responses
  • Japan Region 2 — 67 responses
  • Singapore Region 1 — 32 responses
  • Singapore Region 2 — 5 responses
  • Not aware / Not sure — 38 responses

■Opinion on Region Consolidation

Regarding the closure of Japan Region 2 and Singapore Region 2:

  • Support / Somewhat support: 83%
  • Neutral: 9%
  • Oppose / Somewhat oppose: 8%

Overall, the results indicate that many users understand and support the proposed change.

■Impact on Gameplay

  • Almost no impact — 108 responses
  • Slight impact — 107 responses
  • Significant impact — 27 responses

While many users indicated that the impact would be minimal, we also received some concerns, which we will continue to take into consideration.

■Channel Reduction Implementation

Based on the survey results, and in order to reduce service operating costs and prepare the service environment for potential future operation transfer, we will proceed with channel consolidation for the following regions:

  • Japan Region 2
  • Singapore Region 2

This change is expected to reduce server operating costs by approximately 130,000 JPY per month.

■ Scheduled Implementation

  • Scheduled to be implemented during the regular maintenance on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Details regarding the maintenance time will be announced separately in a dedicated maintenance notice.

We also received many valuable comments in the open-ended responses.
All feedback will be taken into account as we continue to improve and manage the service.
