[Important] Notice Regarding Future Service Operation Policy and Temporary Suspension

Thank you very much for your continued support of GensoKishi Online.

We are currently proceeding with a review of our operational structure and preparing for a service transfer, with the aim of establishing a sustainable operation framework and improving service quality.

As the operation of GensoKishi Online has involved many stakeholders beyond the publisher Metap Inc. and the contracted operator Winlight Co., Ltd., prior coordination with multiple parties is required.
Additionally, we are currently awaiting the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the prospective transferee company.

We sincerely apologize for not being able to provide definitive information to our users at this time.

The prospective transferee company is actively and positively considering the service transfer, and we believe that the announcement of service continuation may be made in the near future.

However, as we have already entered mid-April, which was originally planned as the service termination period, we would like to provide an update within the scope of what can currently be disclosed.

We have discussed the following issues with the prospective transferee company:

  • Revising the operational structure to be less affected by external factors such as cryptocurrency market fluctuations
  • Redesigning the revenue structure to match the scale of the service
  • Optimizing running costs such as infrastructure, licenses, and tools

To resolve these issues, partial specification changes, improvements, and additional updates to the service are required.

After the contract is concluded, the transferee company will first establish a development structure, take over the system, and then proceed with development to address these issues.

This process will require at least several months.
If the current service continues to operate during this period, the cost burden would significantly increase.

Therefore, the current service is scheduled to be temporarily suspended on April 30, while we prepare for the relaunch of a new service.
Additionally, some services will be terminated as of April 30 due to running cost considerations.

■ Services to be temporarily suspended on April 30

  • GensoKishi Online (Game Service)
  • GENSO Marketplace
  • UGC

■ Services to be terminated as of April 30

  • MV Wallet
  • MV Staking v1/v2
  • LAND Project

① Temporary Suspension of GensoKishi Online

Game data as of April 30 will be preserved and is planned to be available when the new service resumes.
In-game currencies mMV and mROND are planned to be converted into a new type of points and remain usable after the relaunch.
Please note that these plans may change due to technical or operational reasons.

In the new service, we are considering discontinuing MV/ROND import and export functions.
Therefore, users who require ROND export are requested to complete it by April 30.

NFTs such as equipment and items are planned to remain exportable after service resumption, but specifications may change.
If you wish to ensure data safety, we recommend exporting them before April 30.

The dimensional warehouse deposit fee will be waived from April 17 to April 30 following maintenance on April 17.
We recommend exporting during this period.

② Temporary Suspension of GENSO Marketplace

Listing records as of April 30 will be preserved, and the marketplace is planned to resume with the new service.
During the suspension period, NFTs cannot be withdrawn, so we recommend retrieving listed NFTs in advance.

③ About UGC

Production records of UGC equipment will be preserved.
The handling of UGC in the new service is still under discussion, particularly regarding profitability.
We will provide further updates once details are finalized.

④ About MV Wallet

The MV Wallet service is scheduled to be discontinued on April 30, 2026.
Please transfer NFTs and tokens in your wallet to an external wallet before the deadline.

Transfer steps:

  1. Log in to the GENSO Marketplace using MV Wallet (phone number or email)
  2. Transfer cryptocurrencies from the wallet detail screen
  3. Transfer NFTs from “My Inventory” individually

Note: POL is a native token, and gas fees are required when transferring from MV Wallet. Sponsored transactions are not supported.

⑤ About MV Staking

Due to planned changes in the handling of MV and ROND in the new service, MV Staking will be discontinued on April 30, 2026.
Please withdraw staked MV before the deadline.

USDT staking and Scholarship NFT services will continue after April 30 under Metap Inc. and MetaStar Hong Kong Inc.

⑥ About LAND

Due to development priority and additional costs, the LAND feature will be frozen as of April 30, 2026.
We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations and appreciate your understanding.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and concern caused to our users.
Please note that this announcement is based on current considerations and may be subject to change.

We sincerely appreciate your continued support of GensoKishi Online.
