Announcement: Material NFT Survey

Thank you for playing GensoKishi Online.

We would like to ask for your feedback regarding the future operation of Material NFTs (ERC1155 standard), which are items that can be obtained in-game and, in some cases, withdrawn as NFTs.

■ Current Situation

Material NFTs were originally designed with the following circulation in mind:

  • Items drop from monsters in-game

  • Some items can be withdrawn as NFTs

  • Multiple NFTs can be combined through NFT synthesis

  • Materials used in synthesis are returned to the operation pool

  • Returned materials are added back to the in-game drop pool

However, in practice, we have observed that:

  • Many Material NFTs remain unused in users’ wallets after being withdrawn
  • Many materials are stored in in-game storage without being NFT-ized

As a result, the amount of circulating Material NFTs is lower than expected, leading to issues such as:

  • Monsters dropping items less frequently

  • NFT synthesis not becoming active

■ Measures Under Consideration

To improve this situation, we are considering the following measure:

Revising and increasing the issuance cap of Material NFTs so that monsters can reliably drop items again.

At the same time, we believe that increasing NFT issuance limits for operational reasons alone raises important concerns regarding fairness, especially for users who already own or use Material NFTs.

For this reason, before making any decision, we would like to conduct a user survey and hear your honest opinions.
