Announcing the official release date for GensoKishi Online - META WORLD -

We are excited to announce of the official release date and time for “GensoKishi Online -META WORLD-” below:

• iOS app
• Android app

For iOS and Android app users:

• Please uninstall the open beta version of the app before installing the official version. If you update the already-installed Open Beta app, this may prevent users from logging into the game properly.
• If you have accidentally updated the Open Beta app version, please uninstall the app and reinstall it again from the App Store.
• As for the iOS app, the official release will not be available in the Test Flight app, but as an official app from the iOS App Store. We will inform you in another release of the app store URL once it is available.

■ Updates released for the official version

• Language and Region Selection
  • When you first launch the game app, you will be able to select your language and the region you would like to connect to. If you wish to change the language or region during gameplay, please do so from the settings on the character selection screen. (To apply the selected changes made, the app will restart after the selection)
• Changes in the NFT import feature
  • In the Open Beta version, due to the restrictions of the game being a beta version, importing NFTs into the game without transferring ownership of the NFT from the customer's wallet was possible.
  • With the release of the official version, this feature will be changed and all NFT imports will require transferring the ownership of the NFT to the GENSO Official account. Players will be able to reclaim their ownership of their NFTs by exporting it back into their wallets.
  • Please be aware that if you delete your character with the imported NFTs equipped to your character, or if you delete your account with the NFT imported, you will not be able to restore the ownership of the NFT again.
  • When deleting a character, please be sure to deposit the NFTs assigned to the character into the warehouse, or export all NFTs before deleting the account.
• Exporting ROND
  • FREE mROND can be exported as ROND by depositing it to a Bank NPC in the game.
  • The export will be conducted by deducting 5% of the mROND being exported (a minimum fee of 10,000 mROND will be necessary) and the 95% of the mROND that remains will be converted to ROND.
  • The conversion rate from mROND to ROND will be determined based on the ROND transaction price at the exchange.
  • Please note that mROND will not be lost even if you delete your character, but if you delete your account, mROND will be lost and you will not be able to restore the ownership of the mROND again.
• Exporting in-game items
  • While it is possible to import and export NFTs that have already been issued, players will not be able to export items such as gear obtained within the game at the time of the release.
  • We are planning to make it possible to export items obtained in-game with an update in December 2022.
  • Changes made to rules when dead and Quest Warp
  • In the open beta version, players returned to the nearest warp point upon death, but in the official release version, the rules will be changed to return to the Elrond Mall upon death. (There are exceptions regarding warp point for some areas (*1)).
  • Instead, a Teleport Stone (*2) will be implemented in Elrond Mall that will warp players directly to the "Outset Plains," "Elrond Castle Town," and "Colkia Village.”
  • Players will also have access to an item called "Elrond’s Wing" that allows for immediate return to the Elrond Mall from any location in the game.
  • “Elrond’s Wing” will be available via Store NPCs and quest rewards in the early stages of the game progression.
    (*1) These areas are to include from the Outset Plains to Ateria Plains East.
    (*2) Destinations of the Teleport Stone will increase as players progress the game.
• Changes made to Gear Parameters
  • In the Open Beta version, parameters such as STR (Arm Strength) and INT (Intelligence) were included as part of Gear Effects, but as for the official release version, these parameters have been added as part of the Gear’s special characteristics.
  • Parameter Magic ATK has now been included to gears such as wands.
  • With these changes, along with the standard ATK and DEF parameters, Magic ATK and STR are also subject to upgrades when reinforcing gear, hence the benefit of reinforcing gear will increase significantly.
  • A random parameter addition will still be available as an added bonus when reinforcing gear.
• Implementing Setup Gear
  • When equipping gear, a new body-part area called SETUP has been included as a dedicated equipping slot that changes the outfit look for the entire body. Special gears such as the Yoshitaka Amano collaboration NFTs will only be able to be equipped in the SETUP gear slot.
  • When gear is equipped in the setup area, all other gear will be removed.
• UI upgrade
  • UI has been upgraded for improved functionality in the following area: Base Gear, Cosplay Gear, and Warehouse.
  • We will continue to improve the various UI within the game.
• Adjustments made for monsters: dropped items and strength balance
  • Adjustments to monsters have been made for both strength parameters and drop-rates for monetary items.
  • Certain monsters will also now drop "Materials" at a low rate.
  • The use for "Materials" are not available at this time, but we are planning to use the item to be tradable for specific NFTs in the future, so please do not sell them, but keep them
• Adjustments for Cosplay Gear reinforcement
  • We have reviewed the costs related to the reinforcing Cosplay Gear items and the parameters when conducting the reinforcements.
  • We have also adjusted the strength balance of normal and rare-grade Cosplay Gear, which had become a stronger item at a lower cost.
  • Super rare and legendary-grade Cosplay Gears are now slightly easier to reinforce, and the reinforcement amount has also been adjusted to benefit the players.
• Repair costs
  • The repair cost for Cosplay Gear will be higher than during the open beta now that the testing phases have been complete.
• Video Streaming at Elrond Mall
  • Videos are now streamed in Elrond Mall.
  • The video streaming feature will be used to stream promotional videos of various companies and tie-up partners.
• Graphic Enhancements for Gear
  • Thumbnail images have been added to Base Gears.
  • Appearance of some 3D models of Base Gears has been updated.
• Visual enhancements for skill effects
  • We have improved the quality of visual effects when using skills.
• Enhanced Map Graphics
  • The quality of the graphics of the following maps has been improved: Elrond Underground Canal, Floating Palace Schalan, Flame Spirit Lair, Ivwal Caves, Dim Netherworld, Halls of Darkness, Colkia Village, Kalhari Shore, Rummel Temple
• For Asia Regions: character names in Traditional Chinese characters can now be registered.
• Fixed various translation omissions
• Other bugs have been fixed.
• Major planned updates after the official release:
  • Trade feature between users
  • Introducing Dragon Tower (challenge dungeon)
  • Expanding the Shopping Mall space
  • Releasing details & conducting sales of collaborative NFTs with partnered projects
  • NFT leasing function
  • Ability to design avatars and objects by individual users to be played in the game.
  • Housing function in LAND
  • Participation of many companies and celebrities in LAND
