【December 26th 2023】Maintenance Notice

Thank you for always playing GENSO PROJECT.

Some of the announcements have been changed, so the changed parts are in red text as of 12/26 15:00.

On December 26, 2023, from 14:00 to 18:00, maintenance will be conducted for the official service of Genso Kishi Online.
During the maintenance, the service will be temporarily unavailable.

■Maintenance Details:

・”Cosplay Equipment Repair Tool" Drop Promotion

Starting from the end of maintenance on December 26th 2023 until the beginning of maintenance on January 11th 2024, a promotion will be held where monsters will drop various "Right hand Cosplay Equipment repair tools” in order to activate Paladias Islands and Bandit Rock.

The drop rate has been set quite low, and we would like to conduct this experiment to see how well such settings work. We intend to assess the results of this period to determine if similar promotions can be conducted regularly in the future. We appreciate everyone's enthusiastic participation in this endeavor.

・Limited-time map "Hatsuhii Coast" opens

As 2023 comes to an end, and the new year approaches, a map called "Hatsuhii Coast" has been prepared for players to celebrate the New Year. You can access Hatsuhii Coast by talking to "Otoso" in Elrond Mall.

Hatsuhii Coast is designed so that the sunrise occurs at the exact moment it turns 0:00 in the real world. We invite you to welcome the New Year's sunrise together with your fellow Genso Knights.

※There will be three versions:
　Sunrise at 0:00Japan Time (UTC+9)
　Sunrise at 0:00 Taiwan Time (1:00 Japan Time）(UTC+8)
　Sunrise at 0:00 UTC (UTC+0)

Please choose the map that suits your local time.
*Because the coast is expected to be crowded,
Each of the Hatsuhi beaches has 3 zones available.
If it is crowded, please go from shopping area 2 or 3 as well as shopping area 1.
Please consider going to Hatuhi Beach 2 or 3.

・Adjustment to some on Paladias Islands and Bandit Rock

Balance adjustments have been made based on the drop rates of various crystals.

1. Lengthened reappearance time. Man-Eating Ikanago, Violent Ent to inactive monsters 
2. Vice Monger target monsters have been added to make them more likely to appear.
3. Reduced reappearance time for Rock Cancer, Bubble Cancer, and Bugloo Meister.
4. Lengthened Killer Joker's reappearance time.

・Changes to Warlock’s skill “Thunder Break” and “Dual Thunderbomb”

Due to the results of an MV vote on Discord,  the skills “Thunder Break” and “Dual Thunderbomb” will now be activated immediately upon skill use instead of selecting a target after activation.

・Adjustments to the effects of some skills :

Changes made in the Creator Sandbox environment on November 22nd 2023, have been reflected in the official service.
Detailed changes can be found in the provided spreadsheet.
With the changes to the specifications of「Thunder Break」and adjustments to the skill content, we encourage players to reconstruct their skills.
To facilitate this, from the maintenance on December 26th 2023 until January 11th 2024, we will place a Puyon near the monitor in the eastern section of Elrond Mall, distributing "Pearl of Skill tree Reset" and "Pearl of Status Reset" .

In order for players to rebuild their skills in accordance with the changes to the Thunder Break specifications and adjustments to this skill, "Skill Tree Reset Pearl" and "Status Reset Pearl" will be distributed under the monitor in the east section of the Elrond Shopping Arcade from December 26, 2023 until January 11, 2024 maintenance. ・Update "Bitget" tenant in Elrond Mall

As of December 21st 2023, at 20:00, the cryptocurrency exchange 'Bitget' has started handling $MV (ERC20/Polygon) tokens.
We will modify the dialogue and other aspects to allow access to trading and campaign information pages from the NPC in front of the Bitget tenant installed in Elrond Mall.

・Adjusted the repair costs for Amano Set-Up equipment

We have adjusted the repair costs for Amano Set-Up equipment (SR Rarity) due to feedback suggesting it was considered 'difficult to use' owing to its inability to separate each part compared to SR Cosplay Equipment and its initially high repair costs.

Cost to fully repair CND: 199,999mMV

＜Adjusted for the current environment＞
Cost to fully repair CND: 135,349mMV (approximately 33% price revision)

With this adjustment, there will be no difference in repair costs between SR Cosplay Equipment (right-hand weapon) and Amano Set-Up. We hope this brings greater versatility to your equipment choices during adventures.

・Character scaling in AR mode

We have added the character scaling feature to AR mode, available exclusively on the smartphone version.
In the AR mode of the commemorative photo shooting feature, you will be able to freely scale the character's size after placing the character.
We believe this will enable more creative and versatile photo shoots.

・Changes to damage number colors for elemental attacks on resistant enemies.

We are changing the color tones for damage numbers when attacking enemies with resistances to elemental attacks. Although adjustments were made during the maintenance on December 16, the feedback received indicated that the changes made it difficult to see.
We are now changing the color from dark gray to blue for better visibility.

・We have made it easier to switch chat modes during keyboard and gamepad operations.

On the keyboard, you can now switch chat modes using the '<' and '>' keys.
For gamepad users, you can switch chat modes by using 'L1 + ←' and 'L1 + →' commands.

・The following issues have been addressed and fixed:

1. Fixed a bug where the teleportation magic crystal appeared on the Portbur Harbor map during the early stages of the game or tutorial.
2. Fixed a bug where the attack speed increase from skill buffs was not reflected on the equipment screen.
3. The correct notation regarding the additional effects of the equipment is「睡眠耐性」is「眠り耐性」Fixed a bug that caused it to be expressed as
   *The problem is only in Japanese.
4. Resolved a bug where the chat window became unresponsive when performing actions such as map transitions while keeping the chat window open.
5. Corrected the order for switching between detailed character stats on the character status screen to 'Detailed Stats → Elemental Resistance'.
