【Feb 29th】Notice of Maintenance

Thank you for always playing GENSO PROJECT.

We will be conducting maintenance on GensoKishi Online on February 29th, 2024, from 5:00 to 9:00  (UTC).
During the maintenance period, GensoKishi Online will be unavailable to use.

The following are the details of this maintenance:

・Addition of new skills and skill unlocking quests
　Along with the addition of new skills, we will implement the addition of skill unlocking quests.
　For the new skills that can be learned through skill unlocking quests, please check this spreadsheet.
　The acquisition conditions for new skills are uniformly "Skill Rank 30 or higher".

　We will provide information regarding skill unlocking quests and the prerequisite quests required to undertake them.

　① Captain's Job
　
　Prerequisite quests for the skill unlocking quest.
　With the implementation of new quests, we will be adding drops of "Pirate Badge" and "Pirate Medallion" to skeleton-type monsters in Paladias Islands and Bandit Rock.

  • There are two types of prerequisite quests: "[First]Captain's Job" and "[Repeat]Captain's Job," with "[First]Captain's Job" being the prerequisite for the skill unlocking quest.
  • In "[First]Captain's Job", you will need to collect 100 "Pirate Badges" and 50 "Pirate Medallions".
  • In "[Repeat]Captain's Job", you will need to collect 20 "Pirate Badges" and 5 "Pirate Medallions".
  • "Pirate Badge" and "Pirate Medallion" are treated as regular items, so even if you are in a party, the number of items dropped by monsters will be one per item.

　② A Tastier Beverage
　
　The newly added skill unlocking quest.

　③ Suck the Marrow
　
　The newly added skill unlocking quest.

　④ Long Journey to the Top
　　
　The newly added skill unlocking quest.
　The quest NPC for the skill unlocking quest will be the same NPC as for ① Captain's Job.

  • For each skill unlocking quest, you cannot take the quest unless your character level is 28 or higher.
  • For the clear conditions of each skill unlocking quest (required items and quantities), please check this spreadsheet (from line 36 onwards).

・Implementation of adjustments to reference level conditions during the "reporting" phase of skill quests.

・Review the drop settings for certain monsters that are targets of quests.
　Following the previous adjustments made during the official service, we will be revisiting the drop settings for specific monsters and introducing additional monsters.

　Target Monsters and Locations:
　Location: Colkia Hole (Upper left of the map)
　Quest Monster: Brugderer Troll
　Additional Monster: Brughaire Troll
　*Note that there will be no changes to the drop rates or difficulty level.

・Adjusted the monster placements around the quest NPC in Bandit Rock.

・Implementation of moving the skill cancel button to the right side（iOS/Android version）.

・Conducted a review of the shortcut keys for skill cancellation （iOS/Android version）.
　Regarding the button to cancel chanting skills, we have reconsidered based on feedback received.
　The shortcut keys for skill cancellation are as follows:
　　Gamepad：[R2] + [L2]

・Added a feature to the skill tree screen where you can review the effects of already acquired skills at lower levels.
　（iOS/Android version）

・Implemented the ability to deposit Highly Concentrated Potions into Shared Storage.

・Addressed the issue with the snowfall effect not being disabled.

・Distribution of "Cosplay repair tool (r_hand)" to Creator Sandbox survey respondents
　During this maintenance, we will select particularly helpful responses from the Creator Sandbox survey and distribute a "Cosplay repair tool (r_hand)" to those respondents.
　We will continue to strive to provide better services based on your valuable feedback and appreciate your ongoing support and cooperation.

■Corrections to the following issues:

  • Fixed an issue that unintentionally closes the shop NPC conversation (WebGL version only).
  • Corrected a problem with the drop settings for "Sharpened Blade Fragment" (changed from Gundal Ogre to Gudale Ogre).
  • Fixed a bug where the skill "Earth Dragon: Tectonic Thrash" of DGLANCER had a reuse time set to 0 seconds.
  • Adjusted the spawn positions and movement for some Wyverns in "Floating Palace Schalan" as a measure to prevent them from floating in the air.
  • Corrected an issue where the casting bar would appear during cooldown when using certain skills.
  • Fixed an issue related to the drop settings for "Aurora Wing" (changed from Ritual Basser to Tual Basser).
  • Fixed a bug where, after clearing a Dragon Tower floor, the dialogue box would move to the top of the chandelier during display.
  • Rectified an issue where there was a timing discrepancy in animations and effects when using chanting skills after activating non-chanting skills.
  • Resolved the problem preventing the successful completion of Book No. 28, "Stuffed Toy Artisan."
  • Corrected the following skill description texts (no changes to skill effects):

　Black Dragon's Breath
　＜before change＞　It inflicts extremely powerful dark physical damage, and also absorbs ATK and intelligence from the target, increasing its own ATK, Magic power, strength and intelligence for a certain period of time.[Cast:2sec][CT:60sec][MP:<NEED_MP>]
　＜after change＞　It inflicts extremely powerful dark magical damage,and also absorbs strength and intelligence from the target, increasing its own ATK, Magic power, strength and intelligence for a certain period of time. [Cast:2sec][CT:60sec][MP:]

　Purge cutter
　＜before change＞　Deals high-strength physical damage.[Cast:2sec][CT:60sec][MP:<NEED_MP>]
　＜after change＞　Deals high-strength physical damage twice. [Cast: 2 sec][CT:60sec][MP:]

　Lifestorm
　Corrected the text from "Recovers 5 HP periodically" to "Periodically recovers HP".

　The Descent of Beauty
　The skill names and descriptions in traditional Chinese characters were in English, so they have been corrected to traditional Chinese characters.
