Plan Update: ROND (Polygon & ERC20) – Will Aim to be Listed on CEXs
GensoKishi Online Metaworld is the GameFi and metaverse incarnation of the award winning Nintendo Switch/PS4 game “Elemental Knights”. This iconic game aims to list their in-game currency ROND on multiple CEXs by August 2022.
We have also updated our roadmap accordingly.
“It was originally planned that “ROND” would be listed only on “DEX (Decentralized Exchanges)”, but this has been changed to listing by the “CEX Virtual Currency Exchange”.
We will provide more information as soon as further developments are made.
◆What is GensoKishi Online?
GensoKishi Online is based on the Elemental Knights Online series of games, which was released in 2008 and has already achieved a total of 8 million downloads.
By incorporating the three key concepts of “Free to Play * Play to Earn * UGC to Earn,” the game will offer an unprecedented GameFi and Metabar experience.
Currently, it has set several records, including the fastest sale of TRUSTPAD in IDO and the largest number of staking participants in the history of Bybit’s LaunchPool with 69,000 (totaling more than 22 billion yen).
◆About ROND Token
This is the name of the currency used primarily in the game to make up the metaverse within the GensoKishi Online project.
ROND holdings are used to purchase various in-game items, base weapons and armor, to pay for participation in modes, events, and quests that can only be entered under certain conditions, to strengthen and forge base equipment, and to enter User Generated Contents (UGC) maps.
One of the most important features is that ROND is a real virtual currency because it can be exchanged on virtual currency exchanges. And this ROND can be earned by selling items obtained from game adventures or defeating monsters in the game to establish “Play to Earn” and earn ROND.
In other words, by playing this game correctly, it is possible to earn money through the game.
◆Difference from MV (Metaverse) tokens
Another token used in the Elemental Knight Online project to make up the Metaverse is called “MV (Metaverse)”. This is the name of the currency used mainly outside the game.
Staking MVs provides various rights and privileges in and out of the game, including the ability to obtain ROND that can be used in-game and preferential rights at various NFTs such as Land NFTs, in-game equipment NFTs, and in-game items NFTs. The new system is scheduled to be released in the near future.
