[January 23] Maintenance Notice

Thank you for playing Genso Kishi Online.

We will perform official GensoKishi Online service maintenance on January 23, 2025, from 5:00 to 10:00 (UTC).
Additionally, the GENSO Marketplace and GENSO Maker will be maintained from 5:00 to 7:00 (UTC) on the same day due to equipment maintenance.
Please note that all services will be unavailable during this period.

Below are the details of the maintenance:

■ Trial Release of the MV Wallet

We are beginning a trial release of some features of the built-in MV Wallet for new users looking to start their journey with GensoKishi.
Further details will be announced during tomorrow's maintenance release.

As this release is limited to certain features, users who are already playing Genso Kishi are requested to continue using external wallet services such as Metamask as they have been doing.

■ Adjustment of ROND Ore Supply Schedule

To improve the gameplay experience, we have decided to adjust the supply cycle of ROND Ore. While reducing the amount replenished in each cycle; we will shorten the replenishment interval and increase the number of daily replenishments.

■ Repair Cost Balancing

Based on the operational data from December 26, 2024, to the present, the following adjustments will be made to optimize game balance. We will continue to make regular adjustments.

1. The durability decrease rate for the following classes during regular attacks and skill usage will be adjusted to approximately 80% of the current value:

• Fighter
• Dragon Lancer

2. The repair cost for SR fashion equipment will be adjusted to approximately 70% of the current value.

■ Addition of Reward Types for Ad Viewing

The following features will be implemented on a trial basis. Please note that limitations or changes to their effects, availability, or usage levels may be applied in the future:

1. The "Watch Ads for Rewards!" feature in the shop will now include the following new rewards:

• EXP Boost (1.5x): Lasts 15 minutes per use, up to 5 times per day.
• Random Buff: Lasts 15 minutes per use, up to 5 times per day.
  Note: The 1.5x EXP buff can be stacked with skills like Experience Rings and random parameters.

2. The Recovery Fountain will now allow healing through ad viewing instead of consuming mROND.

■ Placement of Parallel Teleport for Map Instance Switching

Parallel Teleport for switching maps instances will be placed at the Departure Grasslands Base and Elrond Mall.
Map instances refer to duplicated versions of the same map, such as Ateria Plains (E) and Ateria Plains (E) 2.

Previously, when moving between map instances from bases like Elrond Castle Town or Colkia Village, users could select the map number to move to. Similarly, parallel transfer stones have been added to the Outset Plains and the Elrond Mall to allow users to switch instance map numbers.

After switching the map instance number, any further movement to other maps will be within the selected instance number.
We hope this feature is useful for switching channels during events or when maps are crowded.

■Added a postal service to Portblue's harbor.

■ Distribution of Skill and Status Reset Orbs

As an apology for the following issues:

• Inability to view ads as of January 15, 2025.
• Login issues on iOS and Android as of January 17, 2025.

We will distribute the following items via a Pyon NPC located under the monitor in the Eastern Elrond Mall between January 23, 2025, after maintenance, and January 30, 2025, at 23:59 (UTC):

• Pearl of Skill tree Reset ×2
• Pearl of Status Reset ×1

Please collect these items within the designated period.

■ Adjustment of Monster AI Behavior

The AI of certain monsters will be updated. Monsters will no longer actively attack players whose level is five or more above theirs, similar to other monsters' behaviour.
Note: Players at level 31 and above are treated as level 30.

• Daiz Rosen (Lv25) – Zeth Forest (E)
• Puchi Pilze (Lv25) – Zeth Forest (E)
• Funghast (Lv25) – Zeth Forest (W)
• Marak Griebel (Lv25) – Zeth Forest (W)
• Silent Beep (Lv5) – Ateria Outlands
• Bretos Beep (Lv9) – Ateria Outlands
• Nels Scorpion (Lv3) – Ateria Outlands

■ Other Updates and Bug Fixes

• Adjusted the damage values for the second and subsequent strikes of "Critical Strike Lv2–Lv4" and "Feint Attack Lv2–Lv4" to match the descriptions.
• Corrected the skill descriptions for "Thief's Expertise Lv2–Lv4" to reflect the actual skill effects.

• Updated the cooldown for the awakening skills of the four LR rings introduced in the 2nd Anniversary Gacha from 3 seconds to 3 minutes, aligning with the descriptions.

• Increased drop rates for quest items required in the "Secret Marvel" quest.
