Thank you for playing GENSOKISHI Online.

Maintenance will be conducted on May 29, 2025, from 5:00 to 10:00 (UTC).
During this time, the GENSOKISHI Online service will be unavailable.

■ Update Details

■ Event Tower: "Tower of the Rain Calamity" Release / "Perfumed Haze" Closure

The current event tower, “Perfumed Haze,” will be closed, and a new tower, “Tower of the Rain Calamity,” will be released.

This tower is designed to be approximately equal in difficulty to the "Shinecrow Tower."
Due to the expected high damage taken, we recommend clearing it with a party.
Please note: entering the tower requires the party leader to pay paid mROND.

■ Event Tower Overview

  • Period:
    May 29, 2025 – Until maintenance on June 26, 2025
     
  • Theme:
    Themed after rainy season and squalls.
    This "Dragon Tower" will feature newly added base equipment for the new parts: “face_upside” and “face_downside,” available in SR and LR rarities, as well as various rare items.
    Base and Cosplay Equipment durability will not be consumed in this tower.
     
  • Entry Fees & Limits:
    Enter by speaking to the NPC "Delmeria" at the Dragon's Gate.
    Party leaders must pay 25,000 paid mROND per party member.
    Each account may only pay the entry fee up to 5 times per region per day (including sub-characters).
    Entry limit resets daily at 20:00 UTC.
     
  • Drop Item List:
    Please check the spreadsheet linked on the official site for details.
     
  • Event Tower Rotation:
    The event tower and its drop rewards will rotate monthly. Thank you for your understanding.

■New Accessory Parts (4 types)

We are adding 4 new accessory slots:

  • Face_upside
  • Face_downside
  • Face_paint
  • Earrings

When filtering on the marketplace, please use the English part type names.

■New "Move Speed Rate" Parameter

The new parameter "Move Speed Rate" is being added to equipment, replacing the unused “Evasion” stat.
Movement Speed can be increased through enhancements but will not be rolled randomly via enhancement levels.

Note: If Movement Speed is below 1, it will not affect your actual movement speed and will not display as a decimal on the status screen.

Accessories obtained from the new tower for “Face_upside” and “Face_downside” will have Movement Speed, but initial SR versions may have values below 1.

■Other Updates

  • Effects were not displayed for certain area skills; this has been fixed.

  • The number of simultaneous effect displays can now be adjusted in 5 steps from the settings menu.

  • A "YouTube" button has been added to the game menu, which opens a search result page for "Gensokishi" on YouTube. Please include "Gensokishi" in your video titles to help users find your content.

  • A "Marketplace" button has also been added to the game menu for quick access. If you use the MV Wallet, you can seamlessly access the marketplace.

■Account Linking Enhancements

  • You can now unlink X, Google, and AppleID accounts and relink with a different account.
    This is useful when switching from one Gmail account to another.
    Go to Settings > Account Linking. If you have more than two linked methods, you can unlink and relink accounts.

■Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where Cosplay Equipment of non-participating party members was not considered for ROND drop rate calculations.

  • Fixed a bug where attack speed did not increase when equipping certain setups, despite the effect being applied.

  • Fixed a display issue with UGC for the face part when affected by appearance-changing skills.

  • Fixed an issue where some facial UGCs would not display after map transitions.

  • Fixed item name inconsistencies for SR "Blessed Series" leg gear in event towers.

  • Fixed an issue in Dragon Towers where fewer monsters than expected were hit by AoE skills.
