[Important] Notice Regarding the Termination of GENSO Online Game Service

Thank you very much for your continued support of GENSO Online.

As announced during the AMA held on February 26, 2026, after comprehensively reviewing our current operational and financial conditions, we have concluded that it is extremely difficult to continue the game service under the current structure.

Accordingly, assuming no significant change in circumstances, we will proceed with preparations to terminate the game service according to the schedule below.

■ Upcoming Schedule

February 27, 2026

  • Suspension of in-app purchases via Google Play / Apple App Store / Slash Payment

  • Termination of official sales of Scholarship NFTs

April 30, 2026

  • Shutdown of game servers (end of game service)
  • Suspension of GENSO Marketplace
  • Suspension of LAND Viewer
  • Discontinuation of MV Wallet service

From April 30, 2026 onward

  • Suspension of weekly reward allocations for MV Staking v1 (Polygon)
  • Suspension of weekly reward allocations for MV Staking v2 (ETH)
  • Suspension of seasonal reward allocations for MV Staking v2 (Polygon)

■ Background of Service Termination

Our current monthly fixed costs amount to approximately JPY 10 million:

  • Infrastructure costs: JPY 3.4 million
  • Labor costs: JPY 3.0 million
  • External service fees: JPY 0.7 million
  • Advertising expenses: JPY 0.3 million
  • Listing maintenance fees and ROND buybacks: JPY 1.3 million
  • Other expenses: JPY 0.8 million

Meanwhile, our monthly revenue—including marketplace fees, in-app purchases, and advertising income—stands at approximately JPY 2 million.

As a result, we have continued to operate at a significant monthly deficit.

Although we have implemented phased cost reductions and structural adjustments, from a cash flow perspective, we have determined that continuing under the current framework is no longer feasible.

■ Future Prospects

We do not wish to see the game service of GENSO Online come to an end.

We will continue to explore:

  • Transfer of operational rights to a third party

  • Migration to another company

  • Establishment of a new sustainable operational structure

Should a suitable successor or transferee be found, there remains a possibility of continuing the service. We will provide updates should there be any progress.

■ NFTs and Tokens

On-chain NFTs and tokens will continue to exist on the blockchain even after the game service ends.
However, once the game servers are shut down, they will no longer be usable within the game.

■ Refund Policy

In accordance with our Terms of Service, refunds are not planned in principle.
We kindly ask for your understanding.

■ FAQ

Q1. Why was this decision not made earlier?
We implemented phased cost reductions and structural reforms. However, improvements in market conditions and revenue structure did not materialize in time. We acknowledge that the delay in making this decision is our responsibility.

Q2. What will happen going forward?
The game service of the GENSO project is scheduled to end on April 30. However, rather than concluding the GENSO project’s Web3 journey entirely, we intend to explore a new chapter for the MV token and the GENSO brand.

Q3. Will there be refunds?
In accordance with the Terms of Service, refunds are not planned in principle. We appreciate your understanding.

Q4. What will happen to NFTs, ROND, and LAND?
On-chain NFTs and tokens will continue to exist on the blockchain. However, after the shutdown of the game server and LAND Viewer, their utility will cease and they will no longer be usable. Any changes to future handling will be announced separately.

Q5. Is DAO transition or community operation possible?
It is possible to transfer the service under contractual agreements with a specific company or organization. However, due to the nature of the service, it is difficult to publicly grant third parties access to game systems, programs, resources, and data. A sustainable funding structure and operational system would also be required. If you are seriously interested, please contact us.

Q6. Can the game still be played until termination?
Yes, the game will remain playable until the server shutdown date. However, in-app purchases will no longer be available after February 27.

Q7. What will happen to the Marketplace?
The Marketplace will remain available until April 30. Please ensure that listed NFTs are delisted and NFT synthesis is completed before the service suspension date.

Q8. What will happen to Scholarship NFTs?
Official sales will end on February 27. Due to the product structure requiring exchanges within 180–210 days of purchase, the exchange page will remain available.

Q9. What will happen to LAND?
LAND, which was planned as part of the metaverse expansion, will become unavailable upon the shutdown of the game server and LAND Viewer.

Q10. What will happen to MV Wallet?
As MV Wallet incurs operational maintenance costs and was specialized for game and marketplace use, it will be discontinued on April 30. Please transfer tokens and NFTs to an external wallet address before the deadline.

Q11. What will happen to MV Staking?
Since staking rewards consist of ROND and NFTs usable within the game service, reward replenishment will cease upon game termination. While no specific deadline is set at this time, staking will no longer provide benefits after service termination. We recommend proceeding with unstaking.

Q12. What about USDT Staking?
USDT Staking, which is not directly linked to the game service, will continue to be provided.

Q13. What if we wish to take over the game operation?
