【Important Notice】Regarding NFT Enhancement Proxy Services

We have received inquiries regarding a practice in which a player receives another player’s NFT (equipment) via SNS or other platforms, imports it into the game to perform enhancements, and then receives cryptocurrency or other forms of payment in return. We refer to this as “NFT Enhancement Proxy Services” (hereinafter, "Enhancement Proxy").
This announcement serves to clearly state that Enhancement Proxy services are considered a violation of our Terms of Use, and we will explain the basis of this determination below.
■ What is Enhancement Proxy?
Receiving NFTs (through transfer/lending) from another user
Importing the NFTs into one's own account for in-game enhancement
Returning the NFTs after enhancement and receiving compensation (e.g., USDT)
■ Our Determination Based on the Terms of Use
We have determined that such activities violate Article 12 of the “GensoKishi Online” Terms of Use, specifically:
Article 12, Section 1, Clause ⑥
“Transferring, lending, or otherwise disposing of user accounts, content, or rights related to them in ways not authorized by the Company.”
Article 12, Section 1, Clause ⑦
“Commercial activities conducted for profit (unless officially approved by the Company).”
The primary reason for prohibiting Enhancement Proxy services is the high potential for fraud and disputes—such as NFTs not being returned or services not being rendered after payment. If such problems arise, the risk of increased support costs falls on the operation team, which bears no responsibility for such external transactions.
While NFT ownership rights are transferred to users and users may manage them freely, schemes with a high risk of causing disputes must be prohibited for the sake of maintaining a safe and fair environment in GensoKishi Online.
We understand that some may view these services as “convenient,” but they may negatively impact the overall user experience and value. If an officially approved delegation system or a trusted transaction method with collateral were to be implemented, we may consider such business models in the future as part of our broader Metaverse vision.
■ Difference from "Mercenary" Services in Dragon Tower
We would also like to clarify inquiries regarding in-game "mercenary" activities.
Mercenary services that are conducted entirely within the game system—without involving monetary exchanges or NFT ownership transfers—are considered legitimate cooperative gameplay. Since all risks and responsibilities remain between the involved parties, we do not consider this a violation.
However, if a mercenary service is monetized outside the game or involves payments between individuals, it becomes the same as Enhancement Proxy and falls outside the scope of our support or guarantees.
Likewise, the act of purchasing or selling challenge rights for event towers using another user's account is strictly prohibited. As these rights are not even tokenized as NFTs, such behavior clearly constitutes Real Money Trading (RMT).
■ Policy on Violations
If we discover any of the following activities occurring outside of the official GensoKishi Online platform—such as unauthorized payments, NFT transfers, or trading that could lead to disputes—the operation team may take actions such as:
Warnings or account restrictions
Temporary suspension of NFT transfers
Permanent account bans
Please note that we will not provide any compensation or mediation for issues arising from such activities.
