[Official Release] GensoKishi to be released on November 30th, 2022!

We are excited to announce that the official release date for "GensoKishi Online" will be on November 30th, 2022.

This is the latest release of the game series with over 8 million downloads, has won the Tokyo Blockchain Game AWARD 2022, and has a community of approximately 300,000 users.To commemorate the official release, the logo has been changed to one designed by Yoshitaka Amano.

Our schedule for the upcoming launch is as follows:

◆ Schedule

• November 25th, 2022 at 06:00 (UTC): Open Beta Session 2 to be completed

• November 30th, 2022: Official Release

◆ Changes after Open Beta 2

• Introducing a maximum issuing limit to items
  • When the maximum number of issued items set for each item is reached, the item will no longer be available for purchase or drops.
  • When items are sold to NPCs or used as reinforcement material for equipment, the number of items that can be issued will increase again.
     
• Setting a maximum limit for miniROND distributed in-game
  • Each region will have a set limit to the miniROND distribution pool. Players can obtain miniROND by selling items to NPCs, but if all the miniROND in the distribution pool are withdrawn, NPCs will not be able to purchase items from players.
  • When players use miniROND to purchase items from NPCs or used to enhance equipment, a portion of the miniROND will be replenished to the distribution pool. NPCs will then able to purchase items from players.
  • Separate from the distribution pool, when ROND is imported into the game, miniROND will be generated. This will allow for an economic circulation of ROND⇔miniROND.
     
• Release of the official NFT import feature
  • When importing an NFT, this will transfer the NFT from the player’s wallet to the GensoKishi’s Management Contract. Please note that a GAS fee (MATIC) will also be required when importing.
  • Please be aware that if a character equipped with the imported NFT item is deleted, the imported NFT item will be deleted along with the character.
  • Please be sure to export the imported NFT item or store the NFT item in a warehouse before deleting a character.
     
• Introducing a feature allowing miniROND to be exported as ROND.
  • By depositing miniROND to a Bank NPC, the deposited miniROND can be exported as ROND.
  • Exporting ROND will not require GAS fees, however GensoKishi’s Management will collect a fee equivalent to a standard GAS fee when converting to ROND. Players will be able to receive the ROND amount with the Management fee deducted.
     
• Introducing a feature allowing in-game items to be exported as NFTs
  • Items deposited to a Postman NPC's interdimensional warehouse can be exported as NFT.
  • Please be aware that in order to export NFTs outside of the game, MATIC will be needed for GAS fees.
     
• Introducing "SETUP," a dedicated body part for equipping the Yoshitaka Amano Collaboration NFT, in the Cosplay Equipment UI.
  • All items from the Yoshitaka Amano Collaboration NFT will be categorized as a “SETUP,” a Cosplay Equipment that outfits the entire body with a single NFT.
     
• Adjusting game balance
  • Strengthening some of the monster parameters from Open Beta 2
  • Changes to specific item drop rates, changes to item drop contents, and changes in item sale prices.
     
• Misc fixes
  • Errors found in Open Beta 2 will be fixed for the official release.

We are currently working diligently for the official release of the game. As the development progresses, there may be some changes to the above contents, and/or additional functions may be included.

The game is currently in its Open Beta phase, and we thank you for your patience until the official launch of the game.
