[January 30] Maintenance Notice

Thank you for always playing GensoKishi Online.

We will be conducting maintenance for the official service of GensoKishi Online on January 30, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 (UTC).
You cannot access GensoKishi Online during the maintenance period, so please take note.
There will be no app updates associated with this maintenance.

Below are the maintenance details.

[Update: January 30, 9:00 (UTC)]
Apology for the Distribution of Various Reset Orbs

We want to address an issue regarding the compensation quest and NPC for various reset orbs, which have been available since last week.

Our previous announcements stated they would be available until January 31, 2025, at 0:00 AM (UTC). However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made an urgent change and ended their availability with today's occurrence.

We sincerely apologize for this sudden change and any inconvenience it may have caused.

■ Changes to ROND Ore

After the update on January 23, 2025, we shortened the replenishment interval and increased the number of daily replenishments. As a result, while the interval between depletion and the next replenishment has become shorter, the amount replenished each time is negligible. This has led to increased users needing multiple replenishments, meaning the situation has not improved significantly.

Based on your feedback, we received much support for the proposed update to ROND Ore, which suggested dropping points instead of ROND Ore and distributing ROND Ore based on a proportional allocation of the total daily points upon login the next day. However, implementing this update would temporarily prevent changes to the current experience. Therefore, we will implement the following interim measures:

  1. Temporary suspension of ROND Ore drops over 45 ROND, and adjustment of replenishment amounts to 40 ROND or less.
By adjusting ore quality to match replenishment points, we aim to reduce depletion and create a more stable environment.

  2. Changes to the ROND Ore dropped by a monster.s

In line with the above change, the types of ROND Ore dropped by monsters will be modified.

Please refer to this spreadsheet for the detailed drop table.

  3. Further Refinement of ROND Ore Replenishment Timing
To measure the demand for ROND Ore at different times of the day, we will set the ore replenishment to occur every 30 minutes.
After this update, we may adjust replenishment times and the amount of each type of ROND Ore without prior maintenance or announcements.

  4. Adjustment of maximum durability for Fashion Equipment

Since the overall quality of ROND Ore dropped by monsters will decrease, the maximum durability of each Fashion Equipment will be increased by 40% to optimize costs.

The equipment's CND will remain the same before and after maintenance, meaning the increased maximum durability will also restore internal durability.

■ Optimization of SR Cosplay Equipment (Set) Repair Costs

On January 23, 2025, we adjusted the repair costs for SR Cosplay Equipment (single parts). With this update, we will also reduce the repair costs of SR Cosplay Equipment (setup) by approximately 30%.

Additionally, players who repaired SR Cosplay Equipment (setup) between January 23 and January 30 (before maintenance starts) will receive a refund of 30% of the mMV spent on repairs to their accounts.

The amount of CND restored when using a Cosplay Equipment Repair Tool on a setup will remain at 16% per item.

■ Updates to the MV Wallet

  1. The MV Wallet can now be accessed from the wallet address button at the top right of the NFT/FT import screen.

  2. Users can now send the following cryptocurrencies from the MV Wallet to external wallet addresses:

    ・MATIC (POL), MV, ROND, USDT
(Some crypto exchanges do not accept transfers from the MV Wallet (contract wallet). If the transfer fails, the transaction will not be completed. Transfers to Bybit and Zaif have been confirmed to work correctly.)

  3. Fixed a bug where reloading the page during an import/export transaction would prevent the process from resuming.

  4. Fixed a bug where the next available export date was not displayed after completing a ROND export.

The MV Wallet trial will continue as we work on further refinements.
From February 6, the Marketplace and consumable NFT transactions will also be available.

■ Changes to PvP Rules in the Sky Arena

Based on community feedback, we will adjust the PvP rules in the Sky Arena as follows:

  • Damage to opponents (including counter damage) will be reduced to 8% of the standard field values.
  • The chance to paralyze an opponent will be doubled, and the paralysis duration will be adjusted to match the standard field.
  • Casting time will be reduced to half of the standard field values.

We will continue to refine official PvP rules based on feedback.
If you have any requests, such as "I'dl", try battles under these conditions!" Please post them to @GensoDev.

■ Other Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a typo in the English description of the buff effect from random video ads that increased casting speed.

Thank you for your continued support of GensoKishi Online.
