Notice of Creator Sandbox Environment Termination

Thank you for always supporting GensoKishi Online.

The Creator Sandbox environment (hereinafter referred to as “CS environment”), which has been provided for you to confirm major service changes and to utilize the Game Development Kit for developing LAND, will be terminated. Since the CS environment itself does not generate direct revenue for the project, and the operational costs such as server maintenance are not negligible, we regret to inform you that the CS environment will be discontinued as of September 18, 2025.

Along with this, the “Hikone Map,” which was created using systems related to the Game Development Kit, will also be unpublished.

The Hikone Map was developed and released with the cooperation of many people, including Hikone city officials and local vocational students. While we have carefully considered this decision, this does not mean the partnership with Hikone City will end. We sincerely hope to continue collaborating with Hikone City in their future initiatives.

Although the environment for testing the Game Development Kit will also be closed, we are separately planning other means for users to develop and publish LAND. We deeply apologize for the long wait and appreciate your continued patience.

The schedule for the termination of the CS environment is as follows:

  • September 11, 2025
    ・Suspension of the GENSO Creator Sandbox app on Google Play
    ・Removal of transfer stones to the Hikone Map from GensoKishi Online
     
  • September 18, 2025
    ・Shutdown of the CS environment servers and login page

Furthermore, for the “GENSO CS Access PASS” purchased for entry to the CS environment, we will collect them at the following wallet address:

Those who send the Access PASS to the above address by September 25, 2025, 23:59:59 (UTC) will receive, for each PASS submitted, 3 “Super Potions” and 3 “Super Mana Potions” at a later date.

Please note: The Genso FC Member’s Card will not be eligible, as it provides utilities beyond CS environment login.

To proceed, please connect your wallet containing the relevant item to the GENSO Marketplace and transfer it to the above wallet address from “My Inventory.”
