Regarding the Creation of UGC

Thank you for supporting GensoKishi Online.

We have received inquiries regarding discrepancies between the appearance of UGC equipment created using the Unity Plugin version, the UGC Model Preview version, and their appearance when equipped in the game.

While minor differences may occur due to tool specifications, the following points may help improve consistency if taken into consideration during model creation. We hope you find this information useful. If discrepancies still occur, please note that they are due to the current specifications.

・Insufficient Buffer in Texture Painting
　Ensure that the painted area extends slightly beyond the expected boundaries.

・Significant Difference in Vertex Color Settings Compared to Sample Data
　This can occur when new channels are created, or the set values are unintentionally altered.

・Extreme Scale Values
　This often happens when data is copied or reused.

・Too Close Proximity to Existing Model Data
　This is especially common with headgear. If the character’s base model is too close, the display may flicker.

〇 The following issues may occur specifically in the GENSO UGC Model Preview:

・Polygons with More Than Five Sides Do Not Display Correctly.

・If Vertex Colors Are Absent, No Shading Will Be Displayed in the Game.

・If the ugc_item_root is Edited or Deleted, the Effects, Position, or Appearance of the Equipment May Not Reflect Correctly.

We provide sample model data to assist in the creation process. This includes models for various parts, such as faces, which can be difficult to adjust. Please feel free to use them.
